About Bideako

Bideako comes from bidea, the Basque word for “path.”

A path represents Bideako which means path in the Basque language of Euskera.

It reflects a simple belief: every business has its own path.

There is no universal formula. No single structure. No guaranteed strategy. What works in one company can fail in another - not because the leader lacked effort, but because the decisions were not built for that business, its people, or its long-term vision.

Bideako exists to change that.

We provide business education and leadership training for owners who want to understand how their business produces results - so they can design structure, strategy, and leadership intentionally.

Bideako’s Work Is Grounded In Core Values

Bideako Business Coaching and Consulting believes that success come with hard work. Bideako commits to working hard with every client.

Hard Work & Personal Responsibility

We believe success is built, not wished into existence. Hard work isn’t about hustle or burnout - it’s about showing up consistently, taking ownership, and doing the work others avoid. Sustainable growth requires discipline, commitment, and the willingness to evaluate, adjust, and improve. Don’t just dream about success. Build it.

Bideako Business Coaching and Consulting believes that honesty and integrity are essential for long-term success.

Honesty & Integrity

Integrity is the foundation of every strong business. It means making decisions you can stand behind - even when no one is watching. It means communicating clearly, honoring commitments, and choosing long-term trust over short-term gain. Honesty builds loyalty with customers, steadiness with teams, and confidence within yourself. Without integrity, growth is fragile. With it, growth endures.

Bideako Business Coaching and Consulting knows that creativity and innovation will make your product stand out from your competition.

Creativity & Innovation

Your business was never meant to be a copy of someone else’s. Your ideas, your perspective, your product, and your leadership are what set you apart. Creativity is not decoration - it is courage. It is the willingness to think differently, to innovate intentionally, and to lead rather than follow. When you dare to build something authentic, you create impact that competition cannot replicate.

At Bideako, we believe in simplicity over complexity.

Simplicity Over Complexity

Complexity creates confusion. Structure creates clarity. We believe businesses thrive when systems are simple, expectations are clear, and decisions are intentional. Clarity reduces overwhelm. Simplicity strengthens execution. When leaders strip away unnecessary noise and focus on what truly matters, they build organizations that are steady, scalable, and sustainable.

Bideako Business Coaching and Consulting knows that relationships build loyalty and trust which then drive profits and growth.

People + Profit = Potential

People always come first - and process protects them. When communication is clear, expectations are defined, and structure supports execution, potential expands. Leadership is not assumed; it is learned and strengthened over time. By fostering collaboration, accountability, and authentic connection, businesses create loyalty and resilience. When people and process align, potential expands.

Bideako Business Coaching and Consulting focuses on impact over income which leads to long-term profit.

Impact Over Income

Income follows impact. The businesses that endure are the ones that serve well, communicate honestly, and empower others to grow. When you focus on making a meaningful difference - for clients, employees, and your community - trust builds, loyalty strengthens, and long-term profitability follows. Impact creates resilience. And resilience creates lasting success

MEET THE TEAM:

Anamarie’s Story

Bideako founder, business consultant, educator and mentor smiles in front of the red rock cliffs in Sedona, Arizona.

Anamarie Lopategui founded Bideako after years of building, leading, and selling businesses herself.

Raised in a Basque family shaped by resilience, discipline, and quiet strength, she learned early that real success is not loud - it is built with everyday actions, with character and consistency.

After running operations, managing teams, navigating growth, and carrying the weight of ownership and ultimately working with other leaders, she began studying a pattern.

Capable, hardworking leaders were not struggling because they lacked effort.
They were struggling because they didn’t know how to think structurally about business.

Across industries and revenue levels, the same challenges surfaced:

  • reactive decisions

  • unclear priorities

  • undocumented systems

  • leadership without structure

  • growth without sustainability

Rather than adding to the noise of business advice, Anamarie built Bideako as a place for thoughtful education - grounded in lived experience, operational clarity, financial discipline, and people-first leadership.

Her work integrates strategy with structure, ambition with sustainability, and clarity with execution.

The goal is legacy-driven growth - built on foundations strong enough to last.

Because business should not feel chaotic or constantly reactive.

It should feel intentional.

And every leader deserves to see their path clearly.

Mikel Lopategui:

The Other Half of Bideako

Mikel and Anamarie Lopategui are the co-founders of Bideako Coaching and Consulting.

Bideako didn’t happen alone. It also includes my husband, Mikel Lopategui.

For more than 25 years, we’ve built businesses side by side — rooted in our Basque heritage, hard work, creativity, and a shared love of building something meaningful. From launching and operating multiple ventures to running a successful Basque restaurant together, our journey has always been collaborative.

Mikel’s background spans graphic design, computer graphics instruction, education leadership, and hands-on business ownership. At Bideako, his focus is on helping develop and refine our content, frameworks, and learning experiences.

He plays a behind-the-scenes role in shaping curriculum, strengthening our educational tools, and ensuring what we teach is clear, practical, and usable in the real world.

Together, we continue building Bideako around one belief: When people align with process, they unlock potential.

“Define success in your own terms, achieve it by your own rules, and build a life you’re proud to live.”
